Short version: CrawlerLogs is designed to collect a minimal crawler event, not a full server log. For tracked bot visits, we limit collection to URL, IP address, user-agent, and timestamp. We track bots, not people.

1. What We Collect

Bot Visit Data

When CrawlerLogs is deployed on your site through a Cloudflare Worker or JavaScript tracker, we may collect the following crawler event fields:

We intentionally do not design the service around full raw server-log collection. We do not collect request bodies, session replay data, cookies for analytics, form submissions, or page payloads as part of crawler visit tracking.

Account Data

When you create or manage an account, we collect information such as:

2. Why We Use This Data

We use bot visit data to operate the service for you, including:

We do not sell your crawl data or use it for advertising. We do not use your data to train general-purpose AI models.

3. Cookies and Session Use

CrawlerLogs uses a session cookie for authenticated product access. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and the crawler tracking model itself is not based on visitor analytics cookies.

4. Retention

Retention depends on your plan and product configuration. Data may be deleted when it exceeds the retention period associated with your account. Some aggregated summaries may persist longer than raw crawler events for reporting continuity.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data handled by the service. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we aim to keep collection narrow and access limited by design.

6. Service Providers

We may use third-party infrastructure and service providers such as Cloudflare, payment processors, database providers, and email delivery vendors in order to operate CrawlerLogs.

7. Your Choices

Depending on your account and legal rights, you may be able to access, export, delete, or request information about data associated with your use of the service. You may also remove CrawlerLogs collection from your site by removing the Worker or JavaScript tracker.

8. International and Regulatory Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including rights related to access, deletion, correction, or objection. Contact us if you want to exercise those rights.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted here with the most recent update date.
